2008 Frontier 6 speed transmission hard to shift

I had trouble with the transmission making a crunching sound when I shift. After 4 trips to the Nissan dealer, they put in a new transmission. It still makes a noise and doesn't shift easy. Anyone else have this problem or any problem with their Frontier? Thanks, Read More...

I recently purchased a 2008 Frontier pickup, the truck has been good but the acorn are falling and denting the hood on the truck?? Hi, I am interested in the MF and residual numbers for a 2008 Frontier 2wd CC SE. 12k per year. 36 or 39 months. I don't really have a use for 4wd so I am shopping 2wd. Nissan was offering a $249 deal for 39 mos. w/ about 2k total down. This deal ended in Sept., Also at this point would I be better off waiting for an 09? Thanks for the input....I called a few of the dealers mentioned, and they said that the 5000.00 Nissan to dealer rebate was only good in Aug. The only discount they are giving is the 2500.00. Basically, they want to give me the Crewcab 4X4 for 26800.00 less 2500.00 then add the tax etc. That is too high considering the deals posted on this Blog. I am going to try Peruzzi ... Read More...

I bought mine a CC SE LWB from Peruzzi 2 months ago. MSRP was 28,535 and I got it for 23,700. Ask for Tim Grey. They have a few there. Good luck. Read More...

Have you tried CarsDirect? They quote a price then give you dealers that will work with you. Windsor Nissan in Hamilton NJ has a few SE crew cabs with auto, so does Peruzzi Nissan in Fairless Hills Pa. just across from Trenton( talk to George Sweeney Cherry Hill Nissan has a SE crew cab, red with auto and if you don't mind driving or just to get an idea of prices check ... Anyone else have/hear about this problem?? Truck has only 200 total miles on it. When shifting from either park, or neutral, to drive, it is sluggish (about a 2 second lag, before you feel it fully in drive). Anyone know the cause (it has regular fuel, although the book reccomends premium). Read More...
