New 3.8-liter V6 lacks power on the highway, but has solid torque off road. Handling is much improved over previous Wranglers without reducing off road capability.
Ride quality in much improved versus its predecessor, but it's still not plush on the street. Seats are suprisingly comfortable over the long haul. Wind noise is down, but not out so if you want it quiet go for the soft top.
Most controls are easy to use since the overall design is very basic. Audio head unit has a more modern look and feel. Cargo space is above average for four door SUVs.
Still has the same Jeep look while adding modern features. Interior design is disappointing though, as it looks too cheap for a vehicle that can easily reach $30K.
Off-Road Ready
In Rubicon trim, the Wrangler is the most capable off-road vehicle on the market. Even in standard trim, it can go places most SUVs can't.
