I am new to forum.Just read the post on a leaky roof on Wrangler 08 Sahara. I looked at a 2007 used Unlimited soft top yesterday and the floor was soaked. Dealer couldn't explain except he stated that all Jeep roofs leak. This was news to me since I had owned a 89 and a 94 both with soft tops and never had a problem. Have you tried any dealers in the Ohio area? Try Dayton and Columbus and see if you have any luck. There are a couple dealers in the Dayon area that have Unlimited models, but I don't think they are the Sahara model. I know exactly how you feel -- I can't find the Jeeps I'm looking for either. There are very professional dealers than there are anything but. I've dealt with both trying to find a 2-door Rubicon for a good price recently. The dealers are currently only selling low margin vehicles. Gas prices and people holding cars longer (because I believe they're more quality built today) are but two reasons. We all know "crazes" do in fact abate. Some more than others. I'm shopping right now (08' Rubicon 2-door) but the best deals I've witnessed have been via CarMax. Only 3 Jeep locations however. But, according to them, they can not place orders on the 08' Jeep Wrangler yet. Which sounds a little suspect to me. But what do I know? Read More...

I just spoke with a dealer that quoted me nearly $35K out the door on a Sahara 2-door, hardtop Wrangler. I nearly choked. I paid about this much for my Infinity G35 two years ago. Dealer told me that he was giving me "fleet price." He went on to say that there is a 9K mark up, because it is summer time and Jeeps are in such hot demand. Whatever. We have just traded my trusty 200 Dodge Dakota Quad cab 4X4, V8, 5 speed, limited slip (and on and on) for a 2008 Wrangler Unlimited 4X4 Sahara with manual transmission, limited slip and the tow package. I would have preferred the 3:21 rear(s), but this was as close as I could come to a metallic Jeep green Sahara with manual. Expect to take delivery on Tuesday (11/13). ... Read More...

I'm looking at a 4dr sahara, auto, 2 wheel drive, hardtop and 18" wheels, with no other options....... If you ever want to sell it, or trade it, you might want to consider 4wd. I know that the MSRP has continued to rise over the past year from Jeep but does that mean that their invoice has gone up too? Absolutely.
