My 98 Jeep Wrangler, does the same thing when it rains. It seems to drip slowly from up under, behind the glove box or trickle down by where the passenger foot area is. Below. We've always had older CJ's and other Jeep Wranglers, but I can honestly say I LOVE my new Jeep Sahara Unlimited!! What a fun and comfortable ride. We own a 2006 Jeep Wrangler X. The check engine light came on and my husband took it to Autozone to diagnose it because they can get the code. It turns out it had something to do with the gas cap. It was reset. It came on again and Chrysler Jeep in Raynham, MA said it was probably the gas cap to refuel and tighten the gas cap and it should go away. It went away for one fill. It ... If you are considering buying a Wrangler I strongly urge you to reconsider. I bought my Wrangler the day after Thanksgiving in 2007. It has been back to the dealer 4 times now with a leaky roof. jeep wrangler 2006 19,100 miles has loud engine tick ..... dealer has told me no error code everthing is normal.took it another dealer $589 dollars on induction flush carbon build up on valves. TICK TICK TICK! still ticking anyone have any sugg. :mad: Read More...

Mine acted up the day I drove it off the lot. Within a couple of weeks they replaced them but I have not had the problem since. I now have around 13,000 on it. What did they tell you was the reason for it to happen? 2006 jeep Wrangler X Read More...

The service center which just did the transmission flush ~3.5 months ago put in the Havoline Dexron IV fluid. What damage can happen with the Dexron fluid in the transmission?
