The fun-to-drive factor is very high in this little car. It's such an inexpensive car so you are surprised at how good it is. The only reservation here is that the gearing is such that you are always looking for 6th. On the freeway, over 75 mph, the engine is really humming.
The ride comfort is good and the quality is remarkably good given the price. What really steals the show, though, is the imaginative use of interior space. Some have complained about the driving position but others have felt the seat comfort is exceptional.
There is remarkable simplicity to the operation of controls in the Fit. The knobs are large, the touch is good and the operation couldn't be easier. But it isn't one of those cars that does everything for you. A bonus is the "maintenance minder" that lets you know about servicing.
The exterior design grows on you -- angular and Euro looking. The feel of interior materials is very good except for the so-called carpeting. No squeaks or rattles -- tight as a drum.
Economical Transportation
Low purchase price, money saving fuel economy, high residual. Great combination.
Fuel Efficient
Not as good as a hybrid but a very thrifty -- and responsive -- engine.
Daily Commuter
Easy entry and exit and high reliability make this a pleasure to drive every day.
Comfortable
The seats are very comfortable and the ergonomics are great. There is even good room in the back seat.
