2007 Honda Fit Sport 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl 5A)

Review

I have been driving my Fit for nearly a year and I am extremely impressed and satisfied with my purchase. It is a wonderful car and Honda has done a fantastic job assembling a fun, economic, small yet spacious, and overall great car in its Fit.

Favorite Features

Driving visiblity; gas mileage; how quickly it warms up (in winter) and cools down (in summer); fog lights on the Sport; sound system; and the very best, the versatility of the seating arrangement and cargo space - ingenious!

Suggested Improvements

Automatic unlock/lock trigger on the front passanger side; middle, front arm rest (so the emergency brake would not be hindered); slightly enlarge the horsepower so to accommodate accelerating quickly on highway on ramps; the plastic bumpers scratch quite easliy (cosmetic concern)

2007 Honda Fit 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl 5M)

Review

I purchased this car in Feb. 2007 and have already put over 31,000 miles on it. I often drive rather quickly (on interstates, highways, and back roads) and have never gotten below 36 mpg. The Fit's suspension is pretty stiff which may turn off some drivers, but I think it makes little little car really fun to drive on twisty roads. As someone who often gets buyer's remorse with large purchases, if I had it to do all over again, I would still buy the Fit.

Favorite Features

Even with low horsepower, the fit is surprisingly fun to drive. Also the 36-40 mpg is great considering the distances that I drive. In addition, the maintenance minder only recommends oil changes about every 4500 miles or so.

Suggested Improvements

I was not happy with the stock tires. I replaced them after 30,000 miles, but they were suspect, at best, long before that. I would like the aux. jack for mp3 players to be standard with the base model. The radio has the aux. button, but the jack isn't even an option on the base model.

Review

This car has been a joy to own and drive. The only complaint I have about it is the road noise at highway speeds. If I was to do it again, I would order some extra undercoating so it would be a quieter ride at highway speeds. Well, I really have one more complaint; I cannot keep my daughter out of it when she is home from college.

Favorite Features

The way the seats can be folder down or up for cargo space.

Suggested Improvements

Soundproofing would be a big help.

Review

After owning this car for 7000+ miles. Heres my review. Gas mileage is great. However ive owned alot of other hondas. The interior is functional, however made of cheap componets (all plastic) and its easily dammaged. Road noise is excessive above 70mph (due to no sound reducing materials to save weight). The car is functional as a daily driver. I love it. The 2 biggest gripes i have, are the paint is cheap! And auto car washes will destroy your car. And the wipers, well used them before you buy. Not as functional as they planned, smearing and passanger wiper arm is huge and flutters in the rain. I give the car a 7 outta 10, after owning 5+ Hondas.

Favorite Features

Rear seats ( have 2 dogs) very functional. gas mileage.

Suggested Improvements

Better wipers. independent rear suspension instead of soild rear axle. 6-speed. 5th gear in the manual is a low gear - @ 80 mph rpms are above 3700. Feels like driving integra type r

2007 Honda Fit Sport 4dr Hatchback (1.5L 4cyl 5A)

Review

I bought my Fit to replace my pickup truck as a commuter vehicle. So far, it rides smooth for a small car, and it's a fun drive. My lowest gas mileage was about 30, and the highest was 45. I've avereged 35 on mixed city and interstate driving. The sound system is good for CDs, but FM reception is relatively poor. Seats are more comfortable that I expected for a small car. Visibility is excellent; it feels like you're sitting higher than you really are. I love the large, flat front window, but the back window gets dirty a lot from slush blowing upward from the back tires. When on low-beam, the front lights are set too low, so it is hard to anticipate road hazards or read signs

Favorite Features

Gas mileage. Very fun to drive. Excellent handling. Seating configurations. Surprisingly roomy inside. Visibility. Interior room.

Suggested Improvements

Needs a driver's side right arm rest. Better antenna for the radio. Front lights that are less directional and that allow for seeing farther ahead and reading signs when on low beam.

We are not getting the mpg that the dealer said it would 30+! real world mpg is 25 city & 28 hwy when we got it new the mpg was better, We fill the honda is a city car only!! the ride is too rough for a long road trip- over 100 miles, cheep set's, and 6'3- 250lbs not much set under you, I had an maz 323 1987 that road better!!

Favorite Features

Suggested Improvements

Review

This is an excellent small car..and bigger than you think. Usual excellent Honda quality. Mileage is ok.. around 33mpg... its so so practical, and great fun to drive. I've seen criticsm of automatic lag... but I don't have any problems. Also, the aftermarket foot rests and armrest are very easy to install.. I bought the ipod connection but am disappointed, its very difficult to use and doesn't use the display very well. The sound system is excellent.. I just use mp3's.

Favorite Features

Honda quality. Great interior design, good fuel economy, fun to drive

Suggested Improvements

Make the foot rest, armrest, and trunk cover standard integrated bluetooth mpg indicator ( actual and average ) larger fuel tank a bit more power would be nice
