I feel your pain! I have a 2004 Yukon with no instrument cluster and now I have the same problem...did you ever find a solution??? My husband is very good w/vehicles and is at his witts end....high payment, cant afford $365.00 for the cluster let alone to fix this...Im going to have to let it go back. Can't listen to DVD audio.

2004 GMC Yukon Denali. No nav screen, just single/multiple cd/tape and radio. The manual says that once the DVD is playing there should be a DVD symbol on the radio, then I should select the DVD as audio source by pressing TAPE/DISC until DVD is highlighted, or choose DVD from using the SOURCE button. 2004 GMC Yukon Denali. No navigation screen, just radio. Hi...I have a 2004 GMC Yukon with 50K miles that the transmission went. We didn't take it to the dealership we bought it from because we called and they said the warranty on the Yukon was 36K or three tears which ever came first. Thanks it took me a while but I discovered it was the u joint needing oil. Unfortunately on the 04's you have to replace the u joint, on the newer models you can collapse the joint and apply oil but I apreciate the help. Read More...

Bushing(s)... I would check the sway bar bushings and also joints/links. I have used WD-40 before (lubricant that can be washed off with water if necessary) to locate the cause. Good Luck! Read More...

I have a 2004 Denali XL that has a squeek at the front but it's not the brakes. The squeek only comes from a full stop to about 30mph while accelerating. When it rains for a few days the squeek goes away untill it gets hot and dry. Can anyone tell me where to start looking. Read More...

If your Yukon is still under warranty, bring it to your GMC Service Department and have it checked/repaired. Otherwise, I would remove the switch panel out of the handle and disconnect the plug to your driver side window (make sure you know the wiring scheme first) then by-pass the switch to open/close the window with a jumper wire (probably a 12 or 14 GA wire) to ...
