Just purchased a 2005 crossfire inferno red limited convertible for $15,500 with only 15,700 miles. The 3/36 and 7/70 warranty have both expired (3rd owner). Can I purchase a warranty from Chrysler even though both warranties are not in service.?? Read More...

Congrats on finding your next dream car. I only have 2 regrets as far as Crossfire ownership goes: 1 - I love my daughter, but I regret having to give up my 2005 Black Limited. Loved that car. 2 - I should have gotten an SRT-6. I would have found a reason to keep that bad boy should I have purchased it! I believe the Crossfire has the same role at Chrysler as the T-bird had at Ford in the 50s. The T-bird was the Ford styling icon 53 through 56 and into 57. You can see T-bird in all the Ford cars of the time. You can see Crossfire in every Chrysler product - Avengers to mini vans. I have seen it, and I love it! As a matter of fact I have a yellow roadster sitting in my driveway even as I type. The Crossfire I'm test driving is a 2005 Roadster, 6-speed, yellow exterior, black top, and an all black interior (leather). If you are interested in an SRT-6, they were only made in 2005. As that is the model I have, I am not that familiar with the differences over the years in the base coupe (yes, there are 2006 models). One of the perks about buying an older car is that the taxes and insurance are usually lower. The depreciation is really not a factor in buying a used Crossfire as the dealers ... Read More...

The "5 inch strap" is for a child safety seat retention strap. Any accessories for your Crossfire can be purchased from the dealer. The Crossfire is a niche car it is not for everyone, it is the "love child" of MB and Chrysler. The Crossfire was overpriced to many when introduced, I paid $41,636.00 for my 2005 Roadster Limited in 2004 and have never regretted it. ... Read More...
