2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited 2dr Coupe (3.2L 6cyl 6M)
Review
I've had a BMW Z3, which was a blast to drive. The Crossfire is not at the same level as the Z3, but it is great fun, and such an unique design. Definitely NOT just another boring plain vanilla that makes up the bulk of cars on the road. Plus, because the basic chassis & engine is from Mercedes (when they were still married to Chrysler), it drives solid as can be. Wife likes the auto transmission, and I love the fact that I can use it as a manual whenever I want to. And the "trunk" is way bigger than most roadsters out there.
Favorite Features
Solid chassis, strong engine, unique design.
Suggested Improvements
Better location for its single cup holder.

I Love My Car
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited 2dr Coupe (3.2L 6cyl 6M)
Review
I love this car, looked at it when first came out. I leased a 2005 which is up.They are not leasing anymore must buy 2008 and there is no difference in design from 2005. Looking at the Z's can't bring myself to give up xfire. Yes people still ask what is it? A real head turner. Haven't found another car to knock my socks off. May just keep it. Still turn around and look at it when walking away.
Favorite Features

SRT is a sleeper

2005 Chrysler Crossfire 2dr Coupe (3.2L 6cyl 6M)

Crossfire SRT - Awesome. Just change the pulley right in front, increase the air flow a bit, hook it up to a laptop to change a few parameters and you'll be pushing 390 horses and 200 mph in a flash. And the car will handle like its doing 50 mph. That's 4.8, 0 -60. Low 13's in the quarter. So for around $1,500.00 for software mods, parts and labor you're running in a class with Porsche, Maserratti and Aston martins and you're looking' better than the Porsche. That's not a bad deal.

Crossfire Crazy
Vehicle
2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited 2dr Roadster (3.2L 6cyl 6M)
Review
Handles great. Easy to open doors. We were able to purchase an extended warranty that was relatively inexpensive. When we drive this it is an eye-catcher. It is different from the other cars in the school parking lot. Just what we wanted.
Favorite Features
Pop up stabilizer bar is awesome. The automatic soft top is the absolute best. The sleek racing body style is a must have. The 2005 looks like it could be the newest thing out there. The inside door handles are different and work well. Lots of leg room is one of the best features. Extras are great.
Suggested Improvements
Redesign the grille to give it a meaner look. Possible improvements could include multi-disc CD changer (at least 6) and wired for cell phone/i pod use.

Answer to My 2nd Midlife Crisis

2005 Chrysler Crossfire Limited 2dr Roadster (3.2L 6cyl 6M)

I love this car. I hunted the car down through my local dealer in late Fall, received the car in early winter and had the top down the first night. I love that it is 80% Mercedes. It has been VERY reliable. Every day, someone comments about the car...at the bank...in a parking lot...every where. This car is a hoot! I'm 51 years old and have had a MGB convertible, Corvair convertible (as a teenager), and an Eclipse. This car has them all beat! A total escape! Best of all, it's royal blue - the best color the car was made in. I'm thrilled, as well, that they will not be made anymore. I consider it a collector's item.
Favorite Features
Well designed - very attractive and distinctive.
Suggested Improvements
I often roll down the windows unintentionally and confuse the turn indicator and wiper controls. No need for major improvement in those areas, however. Don't like the black gunk that gets on the wheels from the brake pads.

Review
My dad owns this car, and I've become a big fan of it. A lot of people down the Crossfire because of its 215 hp as opposed to the 350z's 300hp. It also loses in its 0-60 time about around .5 seconds or less. I blame this on the very poor first gear of the car, it's week and short. But other than that all of the other gears feel torquey and strong...and with the good suspension and huge tires think twice before you down this car. People also fail to realize it has more torque than it does hourses, unlike most other 6cl cars. It takes some bumps hard but the seats are comfortable and the sound system and toys are also really good. I also very much like the exterior design.
Favorite Features
Good overall preformance, good design, limited number produced-meaning it's relatively rare, and it's comfortable.
Suggested Improvements
Overall preformance is good, but why not shut those 350z lovers up(i like both cars) and push out just a little more hp and torque, with more of both and the current weight (~150lbs less than 350) we can show them up on the track, and in a straight line.

Nice car, fun to drive. Great fuel economy for a v6. Oil changes cost a lot and premium fuel required. Handling is awesome and great safety features like ESP TMS BAS.
Favorite Features
The automated spoiler, handling, body design
Suggested Improvements
Way too costly to drive.
