YOU CAN GET REIMB IF FAILURE OCCURRED & REPAIRED PRIOR TO 70K
I had the same issue on my 2003 Suburban at 42K in fall 2005. I was going 45 MPH and the speedo was at 120 MPH, as well the fuel gage bounced between half-full and empty. Cost me $414.38 to replace the cluster because it was out of 36K warranty. Flash forward 2 years to 4 Oct 07, I get a letter from GM on my husband's 2004 Silverado stating the cluster on his truck is now warrantied ... Read More...

Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe Towing Questions
Re: 2004 Suburban aftermarket exhaust [jdmac62]
Dynamax turbo mufflers. flowmaster performance without the flowmaster noise. Used them on my old 78 suburban 4x4 back in the day. It was quick off the line & not much louder than stock. Chevy engines dont like backpressure like some other brands' V8's do, so increasing the pipe diameter a little bit could be useful too. Hope that helps ya! Read More...

Re: 2004 Suburban and E-85 Issues [camocav]
How did things turn out? Chevy recomends that I on the 2002 models that you don't mix fuels and they proport the 7/7 rule. Only switch fuels when the tank is empty, always put at least 7 gallons of fuel in the truck, and drive it for 7 miles without shutting it down. This allows the computer to re-adjust to the new fuel. Failure to do this results in potential cold start ... Read More...

Well, this last tank (last week) of E85 has caused me starting and stuttering problems. Today, I needed AAA to jump start my vehicle as my battery went dead while trying to ... Read More...
