Cadillac Escalade Lease Questions

End of lease purchase incentive

I am nearing the end of my lease with GMAC of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade. Will they negotiate or provide incentives for me to purchase the vehicle since the residual is higher than market value? Read More...

Re: 2008 Escalade ESV Residuals [996twint]

Hi 996twint. Interestingly, the 2008 Cadillac Escalade's lease rates and residual values are currently exactly the same as the 2007 models' numbers. Take a look at my previous post to see what they are. As a result, given the additional cash incentives and dealer discounts that will be available on them at this point it will be cheaper to lease an '07 model. Car_man ... Read More...

Ok. I think I will have everyone in this forum beat on this one. Last month (May, 2008), I purchased a brand new 2007 Cadillac Escalade with 80 miles from Reynold's Cadillac in Orange, VA. Cadillac Escalade Lease Questions

Re: 07 Escalde Price [dcbeltran]

Hi Dariel. I'd hate to see your gas bill if you drive 15,000 miles per month ;) . General Motors is currently providing $1,500 lease cash on the 2007 Cadillac Escalade. It is providing additional bonus cash on Escalade models that have been sitting on dealer lots for a long time. Specifically, there is $1,000 on units that have been in dealer stock since 1/11/07 ... Cadillac Escalade Maintenance and Repair

Re: 07 Escalade [bweber2]

This is a known problem with the 07 models. Here is a link to a Caddy Owners web-site that discusses this issue. Mine doesn't have it, but it has to due with improper door alignment. There is a TSB (Technical Service Bulletin) that has been given to dealers on this, but you have to have a service dept willing to go through the motions. http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/cadillac-escalade-ext-esv-forum-2007/129448- ... Can GM make Cadillac the standard of the world Again?

Re: The Only Luxury Car... [lemko]

Her is some interesteing data from July 2007. According to the industry examiners at CNW Research, Cadillac’s fortunes appear to be slipping away at the margins. In the firm’s July installment of their Retail Automotive Summary, their Aspirational Index (which judges a brand’s attractiveness to consumers) reveals that Cadillac’s rising star is beginning ... Cadillac Escalade Lease Questions

Re: 36 or 39 Month Lease Rate [bama12]

Here you go, bama12. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade AWD with 10,000 miles per year are 6.15% and 60%, respectively. The numbers for an otherwise identical 39 month lease are 6.15% and 59%. General Motors is currently providing a $1,500 cash incentive on leases of this truck through GMAC. Make sure ... Early Termination!

My Grandfather leased a 2007 Cadillac Escalade in Jun 06. He now wants to trade it in on a new truck, the lease was for 48 months! My question is what is going to happen once he tries to do this and could he trade the Caddy in and not lease the truck or does he has to lease itI think he wants to buy the truck outright! Oh his payment was $795 a month! If curious! Read More...

Can GM make Cadillac the standard of the world Again?

Re: Can we get back to Cadillac [mr215]

since you are a businessman I'm sure you would agree that the success or failure of Cadillac could be judged by the sales of the Escalade. You are critical of how cadillac developed the Escalade but you have not mentioned sales. The Escalade is still best in class from a sales perspective so I'm not sure how you can say that their strategy was flawed. I dont think removing ... Read More...

Re: We have to get it together in the US [tntmyth]

But lately we have noticed that some of the GM cars are looking pretty impressive, namely the Cadillac CTS, Chevy Malibu, GMC Acadia, Saturn Vue, Saturn Outlook, Saturn Aura, Buick Enclave. Also some of the Fords look good, like the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Lincoln MKZ, Mercury Milan. I agree completely Americans are starting to build better vehicles, The only ... Read More...
