Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade PROBLEMS...hesitation [jaycough]
My 2007 Escalade doesn't have the vibration problems with 22" wheels but it does have the hesitation. Not that it helps much, but my Mercedes had the same issue and so do a lot of other luxury vehicles including Infinity and Lexus. Step on the gas and go nowhere while a big truck is coming to wipe you out. I think it's the technology that is the problem, not Cadillac ... Read More...

Re: Feb Lease Rates-Incentives [shfawaz]
Hi shfawaz. GMAC's current base lease rate and residual value for a 24 month lease of a 2007 Cadillac Escalade 2WD with 15,000 miles per year are 6.15% and 56%, respectively. As you can see, GMAC publishes lease rates instead of money factors for the vehicles that it leases. You can convert its published lease rates into approximate money factor equivalents by ... Re: 2007 ESCALADE PEP PRICING [johnnygunzz]
Hi John. The lease rate that you were quoted is correct. GMAC's current base lease rate for the 2007 Cadillac Escalade is indeed 6.15%. You will need both your truck's full MSRP and selling price to calculate its lease payment. The following article describes just how both are used to calculate your monthly payment: Calculate Your Own Lease Payment. It is difficult ... Read More...
Re: Feb lease rates [cittner]
Hey Charlie. Let's work up a sample lease payment on this truck and see what we come up with. According to my calculations, if you were to lease a 2007 Cadillac Escalade with an MSRP of $66,700 and a selling price of $64,100 through GMAC right now for 39 months with 10,000 miles per year, your zero down, pre-tax monthly payment should be around $900. Again, this is ... Read More...
Feb Lease Rates-Incentives
Hi Car Man. I'm interested in a low mileage (10,000 mile) 2-year lease for a 2007 2WD Cadillac Escalade. What is the resdiual rate, money factor, and the GMAC bank fee for this month? GM says $1500 cash incentive, what does this translate for a lease? Is there any other incentives relating the Presidents Day sale? Read More...

Re: 2007 Cadillac Escalade hesitation [escy07]
I am on your team. If you find a contact let me no and I will also contact. Please post what you find out. I was told be a service underwriter sometimes this is called a "drive wire" issue. A hesitation. There is no throttle cable and the computer controls everything. To me it is like the vehicle "chokes" when you give it the gas and then finally responds. Read More...

Need advice with purchase price and incentives
I am looking to purchase a 2007 Escalade ESV with a MSRP of just over $67,000. The dealer quoted me a purchase price of $63,541 with an interest rate of 6.99% for 60 months. 1. Is this a good purchase price for this vehicle? 2. Does anyone know of any incentives for this vehicle coming out in the near future? I see so many for GM vehicles throughout the year....do they ... The numbers for an otherwise identical 36 month lease are 6.15% and 60%. When negotiating the capitalized cost ... Read More...
