Re: How Does this look? Deal or No Deal? [rctoon]
Thanks rctoon. The selling price that you were quoted for the Q7 that you are interested in looks outstanding. You never mentioned whether this is a 2007 or a 2008 model, but I assume that we're talking about an '07. If so, make sure that the dealer you are working with uses Audi Financial Services' current 36 month buy rate lease money factor of .00014 to calculate ... Read More...
Re: Good Deal? [arm_jan]
That deal seems pretty, compared to what I got for nearly the identical car (add premium RED paint, and mine is a 7 seater). I put down $2000, and my payment is $704 over the same lease term. Since the 2008's are coming out so soon, I would push to see if there are any better deals at other dealers. I have seen that several regional dealers all have some 2007 stock left, ... Read More...

Re: Do some Q7 Servicers have a clue? [mrsrdb]
I bought my 4.2 in May 2007 in Arkansas. Like you, I've had horrific problems with the car. It had to be towed to the dealer yesterday (with 1,693 miles on it)b/c of transmission problems. The dealer has had it more than I have. I've actually filed for relief under Arkansas' Lemon Law, and am waiting to hear from that. I hate to hear you've had to deal w/ bad dealers/service ... Re: Matnat and the low oil pressure light [california7]
California7: I leased my Q7 3.6L at the beginning of June 2007, and now have about 2600 miles on my Q. I have noticed that each time I start the car (after it has been sitting for more than 2 hours) the engine seems to knock for a good 2-3 minutes. The engine then begins to idle with a different, and much more smooth and quiet sound. Was this the type of knocking sound that ... Read More...

Re: "Check Oil Pressure" Q7 engine seized Destroyed [jorgecruz]
Wow!!!! I cannot believe what you are going through. I'm so sorry. My dealer is in Southern California and has been great at trying to ascertain the problem and addressing it. They contacted Audi and within two days they all determined that there was a weak oil spring (I think that's what they thought but I'm not that was the sum of it in the final anaylisis), I also ... Re: lease rates for May 20th [aveghte]
I tried to lease a Q7 4.2 premium yesterday, and was quoted a residual of 47% on a 3 year 12K miles lease, with the Audi care. From what I have read, the residual has come down since April, as they 2007's are nearing the end of the model year. I did not ask about doing $0 secruity deposit. With a price of $57K ($500 over invoice), the lease payment they quoted me, with taxes ... Read More...
